Our Armed Forces is divided into four main categories
i) Army ( Force which safe guards us from Land)
ii) Air Force ( Force which safe guards us from Air)
iii) Navy and( Force which safe guards us from Sea)
iv) Coast Guard( Force which safe guards us from Sea)
Ok, now we see the mode of officer’s entry in every force.
There are two types of services available at all the forces in our nation. They are
i) Permanent Commission.
ii) Short Service Commission.

What is Permanent Commission?
Permanent Commission means, career in the ourArmy till we retire.
What is Short Service Commission?
Short Service Commission means, career in the defense forces for the duration of 10 years as Commissioned officers, then after this period the persons will get two options, either to choose permanent commission to continue their service in the armed force or to leave the defense force to live a normal civilian life.
NOTE: Those persons who are not selected for permanent commission may get the chance to serve for 4 more years. During this duration they can resign at any time.
